Watauga Economic Development Commission to Meet April 18th in Beech Mountain

BOONE, NC - The Watauga County Economic Development Commission will hold its next meeting Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 1pm-2:30pm at Buckeye Recreation Center, located at 1330 Pine Ridge Road in Beech Mountain. The meeting is open to the public.

In addition to hearing updates on ongoing projects in Beech Mountain, the meeting will include a presentation on cellular technology in the area along with the impacts of broadband expansion.

The Watauga EDC will also hear updates regarding ongoing projects, including next steps for the continued deployment of the Watauga County Childcare Study, which was released earlier this week. The board will also elect its officers for the coming year.
