Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Opens Applications for 2025-28 Board of Directors

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce seeks applications for nomination from those interested in serving as a member of the organization's Board of Directors. Two seats are available for the upcoming term and those selected will serve a three-year appointment beginning in July 1, 2025 lasting through June of 2028.

Those interested in serving on the Board of Directors are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings, engage in committee work, attend Chamber functions when available, and serve as an ambassador for the organization and the business community-at-large.

The applicant's business must be a member of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce and in good standing with the organization.

All applicants will be considered as nominees for the available positions, and their candidacy will be considered by the Chamber’s Nominating Committee. After consideration of each applicant’s candidacy, the committee will present a slate for vote by the full Chamber membership in mid-May. Write-in candidates will be considered during the voting process as well.
 

All applications must be received by Wednesday, April 30 2025, at 4:30PM, for consideration.
