Develop coursework for community leadership program

Implement a series of courses designed to cultivate a community-wide atmosphere for leadership development.

Identify potential participants and communicate the value of community-based leadership development.
Annually evaluate curriculum and implement necessary adjustments to courses.
Survey community partners to assess needs for future program development and course refinement.
Assist Chamber staff in planning and implementing class sessions and alumni functions.

Establish new programming to engage a more diverse audience of community members and past program attendees.
Established Watauga Leadership Development course for graduates of Watauga Leadership Challenge, or other community leadership programs, to serve as a deep dive into select leadership principles.
Created Insight Nights series to facilitate a connection between established and aspiring local leaders and seasonal residents of the High Country who have achieved business success.
Perform an annual review of all curriculum and implement adjustments to programs as necessary.
