Organization Overview

Since 1883, we've been outfitting the Appalachians with traditional mercantile goods, comfortable clothing, rugged footwear, and quality outdoor gear for all mountain seasons. When in Valle Crucis, we invite you to warm up by the potbellied stove, mail a letter from our antique post office, and discover why...some times are just too good to leave behind. Listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks as ''one of the best remaining examples of an old country general store.''
