Watauga EDC to Hold June Meeting in Beech Mountain

BOONE, NC – The Watauga County Economic Development Commission will hold its next meeting Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 1pm-2:30pm in the Gallery Room at Beech Mountain Club, located at 114 Club House Rd in Beech Mountain, NC. The meeting is open to the public.

This stands as the fifth meeting for the newly appointed Watauga EDC, and the first visit to the Beech Mountain community.

Following a welcome and review of Beech Mountain economic development priorities from Watauga EDC member Weidner Abernathy, a presentation from Edward Hinson, Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for Skyline Membership Corp. and Skybest Communications will detail the economic development activities of both companies. Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Economic Development, Joe Furman, will also provide updates on the community housing conversation and other Watauga EDC projects.
