Show Your Love 2020 Golf Classic

Golf at one of the High Country's most prestigious courses awaits players of all skill levels at the Show Your Love 2020 Golf Classic. This socially-distant golf spectacular is set for Monday, September 21st, at Jefferson Landing in Jefferson, NC.  The tournament is presented by Skyline/Skybest and Carolina West Wireless.

To bring this event to you in a safe and responsible manner, please take note of the details below. Thanks to Jefferson Landing and AppHealthCare for their assistance in creating an event that responsibly addresses event guidance.

Check-In Procedures

• Teams will be split into two arrival windows. Group A checks-in at 9:00 am and Group B follows at 9:30. Please make every effort to stage your team arrival so that you can check-in together and efficiently move through this process. Teams must answer a short health questionnaire, take temperatures, and sign a waiver from Jefferson Landing to participate. Masks will be required at check-in.

• Upon arrival at your designated time, go immediately to the registration area, and bring your golf bag along with you. You will be assigned a hole and given access to your cart. If you must go inside the clubhouse for any reason, you must wear a  mask.

• The driving range and practice putting green will be closed for this event to accommodate Jefferson Landing's policies.

• After check-in, proceed immediately to your assigned tee box where you can putt at the nearest green to your location while you wait for the shotgun start at 10:00 am.

Tournament Fees

$150 - Boone Area Chamber of Commerce members

$175 - Non-Members 

$600 - Boone Area Chamber of Commerce member foursome 

$700 - Non-member foursome 

*Registration includes all golf fees, two mulligans per player, lunch,  snacks, and beverages, tournament gift.  Snacks, local craft beer, and other drinks will be distributed throughout the day, thanks to support from Spangler Restoration.

Split-the-Pot Putting Contest

Each participant is included in the annual Split-the-Pot Putting Contest, presented by Appalachian Commercial Real Estate. Each player will get one chance to make a long-distance putt to win a split of a $500 cash prize.

If multiple players sink the putt, the prize will be split the appropriate number of ways. If no player sinks the putt, the entire pot will be utilized toward the future promotion of the #ShowYourLove campaign.

The putting contest will take place as each team completes the 18th hole they will stop at the putting green to compete for the prize.

Tournament Format, On-Course Challenges, and Prizes

• Play will use a modified captain's choice, and par will be your friend. The highest score on any hole is par.

• Special contests and prizes for hole-in-one, closest to the pin, and longest drive will be featured throughout the course.

• Team awards will be distributed to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 

Post-Tournament Awards Show

Following the conclusion of your round, head home and tune in to the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook/YouTube Live channels for a special post-round awards show, including the final leaderboard, prize awards, and select highlights (and lowlights) from the round. The time of the awards show will be communicated at check-in.

• Team and individual prizes will be distributed to winners in the days following the conclusion of our event.
