Chamber Chatter: Preventing Loss & Fraud at your Business
A Chamber Chatter Series
The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for our next Chamber Chatter, a quarterly series where we provide information, conversation, and connections regarding key community happenings and issues.
As we move toward the busy summer season, visitors from far and wide will shop in our stores, experience our attractions, and provide a seasonal boost to our tourism economy.
Unfortunately, not all who interact with our businesses have the best intentions. Cases of shoplifting and fraud tend to climb this time of year. Businesses are faced with the challenge of creating a welcoming environment while simultaneously keeping an eye out for suspicious activities.
This month's Chamber Chatter focuses on loss prevention and fraud awareness tactics that can help businesses and individuals protect themselves from theft and deception.
Join us Tuesday, June 6, from 8:30-10:00AM, as we hear from a panel of local experts that will discuss current trends and provide examples of store layout and employee awareness measures that can help reduce your chances of becoming a victim of theft or fraud.
