Keller Williams High Country has been in operation since 2010 due to the visionary, Todd Kight. He had started other Market Centers in the Charlotte area and Florida over the years with Keller Williams. At the time, Todd's daughter was a student at ASU. When visiting the High Country, he saw the opportunity for growth for something that was different and decided to bring Keller Williams to the High Country. Originally the KWHC office was attached to a Market Center in Lake Norman/Cornelius until July of 2022 when the office became a Market Center of its own. We are grateful for Todd's vision and his passion to bring Keller Williams to the High Country.

The Keller Williams High Country Market Center was the #1 Launching Market Center in the world in 2023 and the most profitable new Market Center in the history of Keller Williams. When giving some perspective, there are over 1100 Market Centers worldwide. When we launched our Market Center in July 2022, there were 64 agents on staff and currently, we have over 104 agents on our roster, making KWHC the largest real estate brokerage in our area. Our agents cover Watauga, Avery, Ashe, Alleghany, Caldwell, Wilkes, and Catawba counties.
