The UNCHA EAP offers confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related challenges. Our EAP addresses a broad and complex range of issues including, but not limited to: mental health concerns, addiction, stress (personal and professional), grief, family problems, job performance issues, and workplace conflict.
Our EAP can also work with managers, supervisors, and administrators in a consultative role to address employee and organizational challenges and needs such as transitions in the workplace, communication issues, staff challenges, support in responding to trauma occurring in the workplace, or workplace violence.
In an era where mental health is recognized as being just as important as physical health, the UNCHA EAP can assist companies in caring more holistically for their employees. Companies who partner with EAPs often find that employees have increased engagement, reduced absenteeism, and decreased overall health costs. It can also be a great way to increase employee access to affordable mental health care, so your staff can get the help they need, when they need it.
