Organization Overview
High Country Breast Cancer Foundation raises funds by organizing events such as the High Country Breast Cancer 5K Walk-Run. An all-volunteer organization. All funds raised remain in the North Carolina High Country and go to assist local breast cancer patients, survivors and their families. Founder and President Irene Sawyer pays for 100% of the foundation's expenses from her own earnings.
