Omer Tomlinson

Omer Tomlinson is a 40-year veteran of Media sales. He has been an Account Executive with Spectrum Reach (formerly Charter Communications) since December, 2000. Prior to that he had a 20+ year career in radio and was the GM of WATA-WZJS from 1991-98. It was there he became involved with the Boone Chamber, serving on the board and as President in 1997.

Tomlinson began working for Charter in 2000, first in Hickory, then transferring to Boone in 2007 when he was recruited to the Chamber Board, becoming Chair in 2010-11. He currently co-chairs the Government Relations Committee with Mark Gould, combining an interest in Government and Business working together to improve the community for every citizen.
