Category: High Country Young Professionals

Join us on Tuesday, October 7, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Cooper Pavilion in Valle Crucis Community Park! Just in time to catch the first signs of fall color, this is the perfect spot for our October networking event.

We’re excited to welcome Pearl’s Kitchen + Tiny Market, a new restaurant in Valle Crucis, as our caterer for the evening. We will also be joined by fellow YoPros from MountainTrue, an environmental non-profit protecting our rivers - including the Watauga that runs right through Valle Crucis Community Park!

Whether you’re looking to expand your professional network, connect with friends, or simply enjoy a crisp fall evening in the High Country, this event is a great opportunity to grow your connections while supporting a local businesses.

VALLE CRUCIS COMMUNITY PARK

Home to popular events like Music in the Valle, Valle Crucis Community Park is a 28-acre nonprofit space in the High Country, built and maintained as a gathering place where residents and visitors can relax outdoors. It offers trails, open green areas, playgrounds, river access, and environmental education opportunities, all set along the Watauga River.

PEARL'S KITCHEN + TINY MARKET

Pearl’s Kitchen + Tiny Market is located in Valle Crucis, right next to the original Mast General Store. They offer fresh made-from-scratch items, coffee & pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and local NC goods. The market section also carries grab-and-go picnic fixtures, beer & wine, and unique market finds, making it a go-to spot for casual meals or picking up something special.
