Prize Patrol delivers Customer Service Awards

The week of April 7-11, 2008 was the Chamber's designated Outrageous Customer Service Week. You may have seen the Prize Patrol vehicles out and about as the Chamber staff made surprise visits to each of the 12 recipients at their place of business to "catch them in the act" of performing Outrageous Customer Service. Lunch & Listen – Next Step in Collaboration

In the winter retreat of the Boone Town Council, it was recommended that the Town hear what the business community has to say about Boone’s “business climate.” To that end, a “Lunch & Listen” was scheduled where the business community could share its vision and concern for small business. This was done with the recognition that a large majority of Boone’s business owners/operators do not live in the Town and therefore do not have a voting voice on issues affecting them. The Town was seeking input from this important stakeholder group.
