Finalists Announced for Boone Area Chamber of Commerce 4 Under 40 Awards

Sixteen members of the High Country community have been selected as category finalists for the inaugural Boone Area Chamber of Commerce 4 Under 40 Awards.

Winners will be announced at an awards luncheon, Wednesday May 17th, from 11:00am-1pm at the Holmes Convocation Center on the campus of Appalachian State University. The event is presented in part by Appalachian Commercial Real Estate.

“Our awards committee reviewed close to 30 nominations over the four categories and had some very difficult decisions to make,” said Boone Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO David Jackson. ”It is clear that we have some bright, young minds in our community that are already preforming well in their various business pursuits. We hope this program will not only highlight our winners but showcase the full breadth of the talent that will help lead our community for the next several decades.”

All finalists will be recognized at the 4 Under 40 awards luncheon May 17th. Tickets are $20 for chamber members and $25 for the general public and can be purchased here. Corporate tables are also available and include special recognition at the event.
