With efforts to protect personal and business financial security talked about daily in the local media, more consumers are paying attention to their exposure to fraudulent activities. In the first installment of their Financial Lunch-and-Learn series, First Citizens Bank presents, Protecting Your Business From Financial Fraud, Wednesday, October 4th, from 11:45am-1pm at the Hampton Inn & Suites of Boone.

The program will cover the ways businesses can be exposed along with steps to accurately detect fraudulent activity in a variety of transactions. This presentation is the first of four lunch-and-learn sessions First Citizens Bank will present on business related topics over the next year. The cost is $10 dollars for individuals that work for a Boone Area Chamber of Commerce member and $15 dollars for non-members.
