Better Business Bureau featured on Mind Your Business

Consumer protection and awareness are two important components of a thriving economy. The Better Business Bureau serving NW North Carolina has long been trusted as a resource for businesses and consumers alike as buying decisions are considered. Brian Wright, President/CEO of the agency appeared this week on Mind Your Business, a weekly radio program produced in partnership between the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce and High Country Radio.

Recent news of efforts to scam consumers place even more emphasis on efforts like that of the BBB to offer trusted information about businesses and their services. BBB offers its national and local consumer services online and in person, and through these efforts, assist millions of customers annually.

“The Better Business Bureau has been in business for over 100 years and our mission is to enhance marketplace trust, and to eventually have the vision where buyers and sellers can trust each other,” said Wright. “Those two things together can help propel an economy and create a really thriving place to live, work, and stay.”
